Tippi Burch serves as trial and appellate counsel in high-stakes business disputes and complex litigation. She has fifteen years of experience handling such disputes in state and federal courts and is admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and all state trial courts in Georgia.
Ms. Burch is a recognized leader among her legal peers. She was selected in 2015 as one of 40 “On the Rise” attorneys under 40 by the Fulton County Daily Report and has been recognized as a “Rising Star in Business Litigation” by the Georgia Super Lawyers Magazine. She has also earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of AV Preeminent for her legal ability and professional ethics. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Legal History Foundation. She has been both a Pupil and Barrister in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin American Inn of Court. She has also been named to the Order of Barristers (for outstanding oral advocacy).
Ms. Burch is also a recognized leader in the community. She is on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society. She serves as the Treasurer of Georgia Supreme Court Justice Keith Blackwell’s election campaign and formerly served on the Board of Directors of Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Dillard’s re-election campaign. Ms. Burch formerly served on the Georgia State Bar YLD Executive Council and Board of Directors, as YLD Director of Legislation, and as Co-Chair of the YLD Leadership Academy. She was also a member of the YLD Leadership Academy Class of 2009.
In 2015, she was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to serve a five year term on the Board of Community Affairs. She is a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2014. She also currently serves on the Administrative Board of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where she is an active member and volunteer. She has served on the Board of Directors, Nominating Committee, and Sustainer Council of the Junior League of Atlanta. She also previously served as Vice President of Community Outreach and Chair of the Political Affairs Committee for the Junior League of Atlanta and as Chair of the State Public Affairs Committee for the Junior Leagues of Georgia.
After graduating, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, Ms. Burch clerked in the Superior Court for the Macon Judicial Circuit and for the Honorable C. Ashley Royal in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Following her clerkship and prior to forming Chalmers Pak Burch & Adams LLC in 2015, Ms. Burch practiced at The Burch Firm, LLC, in the commercial litigation group at King & Spalding LLP, and in the litigation group at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers LLP. She has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country in complex litigation, including whistleblower claims under the False Claims Act, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other whistleblower statutes, business torts, employment litigation, securities litigation, fraud and RICO claims, breach of contract claims, and products liability claims. The clients she has represented include healthcare providers, global pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturers, a long term care pharmacy, local government entities, a soft drink manufacturer, automotive manufacturers, manufacturers in a number other fields, and a variety of other businesses and business owners.
